Local Mission

Loving Our Neighbors

Just as Jesus always served the community that He was in, He tells His followers to serve others for the glory of God (Matthew 5:16). We at TCF know that the church exists to meet needs beyond our own congregation, and we are dedicated to serving those in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Children's Events

Throughout the year, TCF hosts events to bring together our church body and children in our community. Our premier event for school-aged children (kindergarten through eighth grade) is Vacation Bible School, which is a five-night activity with songs, snacks, crafts, games, and engaging stories featuring real-life heroes. At VBS, we also have an exciting, competitive “penny march” to raise money for missions.

At our monthly Kids Night, children enjoy snacks, activities and games while hearing the Gospel through Bible stories and songs. Other events for children and families include family movie nights and summer water parties.

Winston-Salem Rescue Mission Ministry

One way that we at TCF demonstrate God’s love to others is serving at the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission. Several times each year, we have the privilege of providing a meal for the men visiting the mission, and we also use this opportunity to lead worship and share a message from God’s Word.

Darwick Home

The Darwick Home offers temporary housing to missionaries who are visiting the area, and it also provides support for World Relief Ministries, which serve refugees as they arrive in the United States.
